Meenmutty falls considered one of the largest waterfalls in the Kalpetta region and the second largest in Kerala, located 29 km from Kalpetta in the Wayanad district. 45 Km from the city of Thiruvananthapuram. By taking a 2-km picturesque jungle trek through the Wayanad Ooty path, you can access the waterfall. A separate trek through the thick deciduous forest needed on each of its three levels. You can enter the first of the three levels by walking approximately 500 meters from the main entrance. This layer is thinner, low in-depth, and perfect for swimming. By trekking about 500 meters through steps constructed over boulders, the second tier can reach.

From here, adventurous minds greeted by an off-road trek to the top of Meenmutty Falls. One has to take a boat trip from the Neyyar Dam through its catchment area to reach the destination. And the trek towards the Meenmutty falls, which is about 5 km from the settlement and Kombaikani Waterfalls, begins by settling of Kombaikani. A big fall on the course of the Neyyar River is the Kombaikani Waterfall.

How to Reach Meenmutty Waterfalls?

Buses run at regular intervals from Kalpetta to the lake’s main entrance. Taking a 2 km trek on the Kozhikode-Ooty Interstate Highway is the best way to hit the drops. The trek can be tiresome and a little challenging, but the effort is worth the serene waterfall.
